Privacy Policy for Orbit

Effective date: September 19, 2026.

Orbit is an iPhone arcade game published by Ludovic Lepic. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Orbit stores gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device, including:

This information lets the app preserve your progress and settings between launches. Orbit does not upload this saved progress to a developer-operated server.

2. Advertising

Orbit uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads. Google and its partners may process information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve their services.

This may include IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device identifiers, diagnostic and performance information, ads viewed, and interactions with ads or the app. Advertising identifiers are subject to your device permissions and privacy choices.

For details about Google's processing, see:

3. Consent and Privacy Choices

Orbit uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to display consent messages when required. Where available, you can revisit your choices in the app under Settings → Privacy → Manage ad preferences.

Core gameplay does not require you to agree to personalized advertising. Rewarded ads are optional and offer in-game benefits when completed.

4. Tracking Permission

Orbit may request permission using Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline and continue playing. Without permission, the app cannot access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). Declining tracking does not stop all advertising-related data processing.

You can review tracking permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

5. Accounts, Analytics, and Contact Information

Orbit does not require an account and does not use a separate gameplay analytics service. Advertising-related diagnostics and analytics are described above.

If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message, and use it to respond to your request.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local progress and preferences remain in the app's storage until that data is removed. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device; device backups are managed separately through your Apple settings.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request. You may contact us to request deletion of information you have sent us. Information processed by Google and its partners is subject to their retention policies and privacy controls.

7. Children's Privacy

Orbit is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review and address it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
